Easy hike ideas accessible from the ski lifts:

Viewpoint and trails from the Balcon des Aravis: from the Crêt du Merle then Crêt du Loup chairlifts, access the Balcon des Aravis terrace with its breathtaking views over the Aravis peaks. Don’t forget to bring something tasty to grill with the barbecues available on the terrace! Once you’ve regained your energy, several walks are available: to head back down gently, the Crêt du Merle trail offers a very photogenic view near the La Clusaz letters (around 45 minutes’ walk to the Crêt du Merle arrival), or take the Encarnes trail via Combe du Voret for a lovely digestive forest walk, with the two lakes trail a little further on. For the more adventurous, the Porte des Aravis trail via Combe de la Creuse offers a spectacular viewpoint at the top... You’ll also find the Borderan circuit if you have a bit more time, with beautiful views from the summit of l’Aiguille and over the Etale massif.

Gourmet trail from the Beauregard gondola: after a visit to the Immersive Space, hop on the Beauregard gondola with your picnic in your backpack, sunscreen, cap and biggest smile... Especially when you know you’ll pass by the Ferme des Corbassières before picnicking at the dedicated tables near Lac de la Ferriaz, or take the small plateau loop leading to the Lorette farm and its delicious reblochons, with farm animals adding an extra dose of cuteness... Get ready for the stunning views awaiting you on the Beauregard plateau (aka one of the most beautiful viewpoints in La Clusaz)...

workshop "a ram that rocks!": A creative and meaningful workshop for children aged 7 and up (and their parents!). Turn a cardboard skeleton into a unique and fluffy little ram using real Thônes & Marthod sheep wool — a local, rustic and endearing breed. Through hands-on creation, sensory discovery and wool awareness, children will learn, with humor and gentleness, why sheep are sheared, what happens to the wool and how it can be valued. A few handfuls of local wool — and that’s it!
