A creative and hands-on workshop for children aged 7 and up
Transform a cardboard skeleton into a unique and fluffy little ram, using real Thônes & Marthod sheep wool, a charming and rustic local breed. Combining hands-on creation, sensory discovery and an introduction to wool, this fun workshop helps children (and their parents) discover the richness of a natural material that is often forgotten.
Why do we shear sheep? What happens to the wool? How can it be put to good use?
All these questions are explored with humour, gentleness… and a few handfuls of locally sourced wool.
All theinfoyou need
When? Every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 July to 27 August 2026, 10:30am to 11:30am.
Where? On the terrace of the Balcon des Aravis, at the top of the Crêt du Loup chairlift.
Who is it for? Children aged 7 and up (recommended age). The workshop takes place under parental supervision.
Maximum 15 children per session.
